Taking a logistics company and computerising its entire operation
in 4 days was the challenge that Spider Design was faced with. Customer
order tracking, automatic packaging slip creation and a PDF barcoding system
were all delivered on time and on budget. Further challenges included mobile phone integration, multiple box orders and potentially huge scalability. The tight time frame meant project management was key. A full brief was agreed and worked to on a Thursday and the system was running live on Monday morning. As a live system, public access and demonstration is not possible. We have however assembled a series of screen shots that demonstrate some aspects of the system.
